“God’s Beauty in a Sunset”
The Sky above proclaims God’s handiwork. God does not disappoint in the beauty He shows us in the evening sunset.
Psalm 19:1
To the choirmaster. A Psalm of David. The heavens declare the glory of God, and the sky above proclaims his handiwork.
Terri and I on our travels try to find spots to watch the sunset in the evening. We have been lucky to watch the sun go down over some spectacular national landscapes. We have seen multiple sunsets at the Grand Canyon whereas the sun was setting in the west a full moon was coming up on the east side of the canyon. The Grand Tetons had some cool sunsets as the sun created a silhouette of the Teton mountain range in front of an orange sunset. The sunset at Bryce Canyon was beautiful as you watched it move across the hoodoos. This picture is from a couple of weeks watching the sun go down over Lake Michigan while visiting the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.
In every sunset God has His hand in its beauty. The writer in Psalm 19 witnessed the same thing. God has been creating unique sunsets ever since He created sunsets. I am not sure what the sky is going to look like in Heaven, but I can only imagine how spectacular it will be.
Genesis 1:31
And God saw everything that he had made, and behold, it was very good. And there was evening and there was morning, the sixth day.
