Where Do You Find Your Hope?
Hope is desperately needed in our world. People look for different ways to find hope. An older man said, “Choose wisely where you find your hope, as it will shape your life and future”.
The world offers all kind of different avenues for hope. Many of the world solutions are miracle solutions that offer people the opportunity to achieve a better life. If you have not seen them just watch late night TV programs that offer all kind of products and solutions to help people have a better life.
As a believer we have a Lord that provides our hope. To a Christian hope is not a wishful thought, but a confident expectation of what God has promised, and its strength is in His faithfulness.
Isaiah 58:11 (NIV)
11 The Lord will guide you always; he will satisfy your needs in a sun-scorched land and will strengthen your frame. You will be like a well-watered garden, like a spring whose waters never fail
God offers us the only message that can give people what their hearts need most. This is the hope of forgiveness of sins, hope that God will answer our prayers, hope that God has a plan for our future, hope that we will have a home in heaven, and hope that Jesus will return to bring us home.
This is pretty amazing Hope that God gives us. We can live with His Hope and share His message to others.
