Be an Encourager
1 Thessalonians 5:11 (NIV)
Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing.
How many times a day do you run into someone that you could encourage? Next question is how often do you take advantage of that situation? Hopefully, the answer is more often than not. When you think about it we come across so many people in a week. How many of those do we pass on the opportunity to be an encourager.

19 So then, we must pursue what promotes peace and what builds up one another.
It pleases God when we lift someone up with encouragement. It is easy to find someone that needs encouragement, because we all could use some encouragement. One of the best feelings we can get doesn’t cost a penny. It just takes some kind words of encouragement.

11 Finally, brothers and sisters, rejoice! Strive for full restoration, encourage one another, be of one mind, live in peace. And the God of love and peace will be with you.
Make it a goal to encourage someone today. Start with someone you know and then spread out to a stranger like the person working at the grocery store, or gas station. It is contagious.
