Stewards of Hope
As believers we have a treasure that can change lives. That treasure is the good news of what Jesus did for mankind by dying on the cross. That makes us “Stewards of Hope”.
We steward the only message that can give people what their hearts need most, which is hope. Hope that our sins can be forgiven. Hope that our prayers can be answered. Hope that the doors of opportunity will be unlocked. Hope that broken relationships will be reconciled. Hope that our bodies will be healed from ailments. Hope of eternal life.
Isaiah 58:11 (NIV)
11 The Lord will guide you always; he will satisfy your needs in a sun-scorched land and will strengthen your frame. You will be like a well-watered garden, like a spring whose waters never fail.
Hope is pretty amazing, and we get to live it and radiate it out to others. Pretty cool stewardship God has given us.
