More Blessed to Give Than Receive
Acts 20:35 (NKJV)
35 I have shown you in every way, by laboring like this, that you must support the weak. And remember the words of the Lord Jesus, that He said, "It is more blessed to give than to receive."
The thread of generosity is woven throughout Christ’s teachings. We currently are watching the “The Chosen” series about Jesus and His Disciples. The series gets me excited about studying how Jesus interacted with and taught His Disciples. Jesus often exhibited generosity in a way that showed love to the lost world that needed a Savior.
Christ’s teaching still applies today. We have all been blessed and asked to share our blessings with others. The world needs our help. Be ready when the Holy Spirit calls upon us to humble ourselves, to serve somebody, to encourage somebody, or to give something away. You will be blessed.
