Godly Living is Rewarded
Proverbs 12:2 (KJV)
2 A good man obtaineth favour of the Lord: but a man of wicked devices will he condemn.
When we live a life that seeks to nurture the relationship with our Heavenly Father and seeks the fellowship of fellow believers, we will reap spiritual rewards that God intends for us to enjoy. When we live a Godly life, we honor God. That should be the goal of each of us.
We are accountable for our living. We need to seek after a lifestyle that would be pleasing to God and associate with friends that are doing the same. When we live a life like this, we don’t know what kind of example we are setting for others. This is honoring our Father. Timothy touches on this in 2nd Timothy.
2 Timothy 2:22 (KJV)
22 Flee also youthful lusts: but follow righteousness, faith, charity, peace, with them that call on the Lord out of a pure heart.
