“God’s Presence”

Growing up, moms always seemed to know when something was wrong. God gave them a special sense of knowing things about their kids. My mom had it. God has it, He is omnipresent.

One of the great things that technology brought was the cell phone. When my mom was alive, I would try to call her every day on my ride home from work. If I missed a day, she would ask me the next day what happened. 😊 We both enjoyed this time and I miss it.

Our lives are not perfect, and my life had its moments. I never wanted to disappoint my mom and I guess if she was watching I would have made better choices. When you think about it, God is always with us every day. God is omnipresent. So, to say that God is omnipresent is to say that God is present everywhere. Wow, I knew this, but it didn’t always change my actions and that is embarrassing to admit.

We need to live our lives with this in our mindset. He is always with us. We should also take great comfort in this. The Old Testament Saints knew this. David tells us this in the book of Psalm.

Psalm 46:1

1 God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.

Remember, you are not alone. So, no matter what you are dealing with in life, remember that God is with you. We can take comfort in this. I know it is comforting for me to know God is with me through out each moment of each day.

Psalm 33:13-14

13 From heaven the Lord looks down and sees all mankind; 14 from his dwelling place he watches all who live on earth—

“神的同在”

在成长过程中，妈妈们似乎总能知道孩子出了什么事。神赐给她们一种特别的感知，能了解自己孩子的情况。我妈妈也有这种感觉。而神更是如此，祂无所不在。

科技带来的伟大礼物之一就是手机。当我妈妈还在世时，我几乎每天都会在下班回家的路上给她打电话。如果有一天没打，她第二天就会问我发生了什么事。😊 我们都很享受那些通话的时光，而我现在非常怀念。

我们的生活并不完美，我的人生也有起伏。我从不想让妈妈失望，我想如果她一直在看着我，我可能会做出更好的选择。仔细想想，神每天都与我们同在。神是无所不在的。所以，说神无所不在，就是说祂在任何地方都同在。哇，我当然知道这个道理，但它并不总是改变我的行为——而这一点让我有点不好意思承认。

我们需要带着这样的心态来生活：祂一直与我们同在。而这也应该成为我们巨大的安慰。《旧约》中的圣徒们深知这一点。大卫在《诗篇》中告诉了我们：

诗篇 46:11 神是我们的避难所，是我们的力量，是我们在患难中随时的帮助。

记住，你并不孤单。所以，无论你正在经历什么，都要记得神与你同在。我们能从中得着安慰。我知道，对我来说，知道神在我每日每一刻的身边，是极大的安慰。
