“Blessed when we Follow Christ”

1 John 2:5-6 (HCSB)

5 But whoever keeps His word, truly in him the love of God is perfected. This is how we know we are in Him: 6 The one who says he remains in Him should walk just as He walked.

Each day we have a choice to make. Are we going to follow Christ today? We will be confronted with many opportunities to serve God and follow in the footsteps of Christ. When we do, our Heavenly Father guides our steps and blesses us in the process.

Every day we live in a world that can leave us with a feeling of being over-worked, over-committed, and over-whelmed. God has a different plan for us. He wants us to slow down long enough to praise Him and glorify His Son. When we do, He will lift up our spirits and enrich our lives.

Jesus has given us a great example to follow. Being a Christian is more than just a conversion. It is a daily process where we grow to be more like Christ.

15 For I have given you an example that you also should do just as I have done for you.

当我们跟随基督时，就有福了约翰一书 2:5-6（当代译本 HCSB）5 凡遵守祂道的人，神的爱在他里面确实是完全的，由此我们知道我们是在祂里面的。6 人若说自己住在祂里面，就该照祂所行的去行。

每一天，我们都有一个选择要做：今天我们要跟随基督吗？在一天的生活中，我们会遇到许多机会去事奉神，去跟随基督的脚踪。当我们这样做时，我们的天父会引导我们的脚步，并在过程中赐福给我们。

我们每天都生活在一个让人感到工作过多、承诺过多、压力过大的世界里。但神为我们预备了不同的计划。祂希望我们能慢下来，停下来赞美祂，荣耀祂的儿子。当我们这样做时，祂会提振我们的灵，丰富我们的生命。

耶稣给了我们一个伟大的榜样去效法。成为基督徒不仅仅是一时的归信，而是一个每天都在进行的过程——一个不断成长、越来越像基督的过程。
