Letting God Handle Our Burdens
One of the promises God gives us is to help carry our burdens. Whether emotional, financial, or relational, our burdens can weigh us down. When burdens come into our life, how do we handle them? Do we deal with them according to God's Word? Or do we find ourselves fretting over them and trying to run from them? God knows what we are capable of handling, and God would not give us a burden without also supporting us with His strength and wisdom.
God is more than capable of carrying our burdens. He’s sovereign over the universe, so He is capable of working out our problems and meeting our needs. So, we need to trust God and turn our burdens over to Him.
What a comfort we have as a child of God that we can turn things over to Him.
Psalm 68:19
Praise be to the Lord, to God our Savior, who daily bears our burdens.
