He will send a Helper

It can be tough at times living the Christian life, but luckily Jesus knew we would need help. So, He sent us the Holy Spirit to help us. In the book of John, Jesus tells His disciples that He was going to be leaving them, but not to worry, because He will send them a Helper.

John 14:16

And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Helper, to be with you forever.

The believer receives the Holy Spirit once they accept Jesus as their Lord and Savior. The Holy Spirit sent by Jesus to dwell within all those that believe in Him. The Holy Spirit is our Counselor, Comforter, and Helper. He makes sure we have everything we need to accomplish whatever God has called us to do. If we obey what the Holy Spirit is guiding us to do right away, then we will enjoy the wonderful Spirit-filled life that God is leading us in.

The Spirit will guide us in all truths. Our part is to be obedient to the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit will lead us to decisions, choices, and an understanding of God’s will that is true from God’s perspective. The Holy Spirit will empower us to serve God and understand His commandments. We just need to walk in the Spirit, which is to obey the Holy Spirit.

John 14:17

17 the Spirit of truth. The world cannot accept him because it neither sees him nor knows him. But you know him, for he lives with you and will be in you.

过基督徒的生活有时确实不容易，但耶稣早已知道我们需要帮助。因此，祂差遣圣灵来帮助我们。在《约翰福音》中，耶稣告诉门徒祂将要离开他们，但不必担心，因为祂会差遣一位帮助者给他们。

圣灵会引导我们进入一切的真理。我们的责任就是顺服圣灵。圣灵会引导我们作出决定、选择，并从神的角度明白神的旨意。圣灵赐给我们能力去事奉神，并明白祂的诫命。我们只需要行在圣灵中，也就是顺服圣灵。
