Overcoming Fear in our Problems

Many of us are facing trials that are fearful to us. The Christian doesn’t have to fear when the trials come. Tell the Lord your fears, when we acknowledge our reliability on the Lord who is in charge of our life and admit our fears, we are turning it over to the Lord who has promised to hear our cry and deliver us.

Psalm 34: 15,17

15 The eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, and his ears are attentive to their cry;

17 The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears them; he delivers them from all their troubles.

When we have a relationship with God that makes Him the dominant force in our lives, we have nothing to fear. Our God can handle anything that we come across. The bible is full of stories of men who depended on God to fight their battles. The story of “David and Goliath”, “Joshua and Caleb”, They looked at the size and power of their God and not the size of their problem. They said, “My God can handle this”. They put their faith and trust in God’s power for victory and not in their own power.

We can do the same things with our problems we face this week. Put our faith and trust in God’s power and say, “My God can handle this”.
