“Living under God’s Power”

One of the things that can be a struggle for many Christians is that we think we can live the Christian Life on our own self-sufficiently. This is something that God did not intend for us. God wants us to depend on Him alone to live the Christian life.

The key to godly living is relying on Jesus to live through us. At the moment of conversion, the Spirit of Jesus, also known as the Holy Spirit, came to live within us.

Romans 8:9

You, however, are not in the realm of the flesh but are in the realm of the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God lives in you. And if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, they do not belong to Christ.

The Holy Spirit primary responsibility is to live the life of Christ through us. When we rely on Him, He helps us think, act, and react as Jesus would in our place. As we develop spiritually, we grow in our ability to allow Him to live through us. Galatians 2:20 puts it this way,

Galatians 2:20

I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.

Start your day tomorrow in prayer and tell the Lord, “It’s Your life—I’ve surrendered it all to You. Thank You for dealing with each issue I face today.” We will still experience temptation and adversity, but now we know it’s not our responsibility to face those things in our own strength. In His power, we can have joyful, confident, and productive lives.

“活在神的能力之下”

许多基督徒常常面临的一个挣扎，就是我们以为可以凭借自己的能力来过基督徒的生活。但这并不是神对我们的心意。神要我们单单依靠祂来活出基督徒的生命。

敬虔生活的关键，就是依靠耶稣在我们里面活着。在我们悔改归主的那一刻，耶稣的灵，也就是圣灵，来到我们里面居住。

罗马书 8:9“如果神的灵住在你们里面，你们就不属肉体，乃属圣灵了。若是人没有基督的灵，就不属基督。”

圣灵的主要责任，就是在我们里面活出基督的生命。当我们依靠祂时，祂会帮助我们在思想、行为、反应上像耶稣一样。随着我们的属灵成长，我们也会越来越能让祂在我们里面掌权。《加拉太书》2:20 是这样说的：

加拉太书 2:20“我已经与基督同钉十字架，现在活着的，不再是我，乃是基督在我里面活着；并且我如今在肉身活着，是因信神的儿子而活；祂爱我，为我舍己。”

明天开始你一天的时候，用祷告对主说：“这是祢的生命——我已将一切完全交托给祢。感谢祢处理我今天将要面对的每一个问题。”我们仍会经历试探和困境，但现在我们知道，不需要凭自己的力量去面对。靠着祂的能力，我们可以拥有喜乐、自信且丰盛的生活。
