“God’s Love Never Fails”
John 3:16
“16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.”
Does it seem like life always throws you a curve ball? It always seems like things are going along just fine and then we get hit with a trial. Life is full of trials and once we get comfortable… “Look out”. God uses trials to teach us. Once the trial hits it seems like we always need to be reminded of God’s love. If you are a child of God, you are going to experience His discipline.
Hebrews 6:12(NIV)
“For the LORD disciplines those he loves, and he punishes each one he accepts as his child.”
Why do we always need to be disciplined? For those of us that have had children, discipline is a used to teach them. Discipline is what God uses to make us more like Christ, just like the relationship between earthly fathers and their children. We all have human fathers who disciplined us, and we respected them for it. Our Heavenly Father disciplines us for our good, that we may share in His Holiness.
Hebrews 12:9-10
“9 Moreover, we have all had human fathers who disciplined us and we respected them for it. How much more should we submit to the Father of spirits and live! 10 They disciplined us for a little while as they thought best; but God disciplines us for our good, in order that we may share in his holiness.”
Tomorrow when that trial comes, remember God is using it because He loves you. His love never fails.
