God Promises that if you ask, you will Receive

Matthew 7: 7 – 8

7 “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. 8 For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened.

What are you dealing with in your life right now? Do you need strength to make it through the day? Are you in trouble? Are you discouraged? Are you lonely? Do you have an illness? Do you feel trapped in an unhappy life? You get the drift; we all have something going on in our lives. Have we talked to God about them? Don’t be fearful to talk with God, ask Him to guide you where He wants you to go and then go there.

Don’t be afraid to ask your Heavenly Father for anything you need? Nothing is too small or too large to ask God. Sometimes people feel guilty or ashamed to ask God. They think they don’t want to bother God with their needs. They might think they are the one who screwed up and that they are embarrassed to ask God for help. My advice is to humble yourselves to God and talk with Him and seek His Wisdom on whatever your needs might be.

Luke 11:11-13

11 “Which of you fathers, if your son asks for a fish, will give him a snake instead? 12 Or if he asks for an egg, will give him a scorpion? 13 If you then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him!”
