Casting Out Fear
Fear can be disastrous as it can steal our peace that God has given us. The bible talks a lot about fear. Fear can steal our hope for the future. God did not intend for us to live with fear. There are several verses in the bible that tells us not to worry.
One of the greatest chapters to help fight fear is Psalm 91.
Psalm 91:3-5 (NIV)
3 Surely he will save you from the fowler’s snare and from the deadly pestilence. 4 He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart. 5 You will not fear the terror of night, nor the arrow that flies by day,
These verses tell us that as a child of God we are under His protection and there is no need for us to fear. When you think about it, if we have the Creator of everything watching over us, what is there to fear?
