“A Positive Path in Life”
We have choices in life on how we look at things and these choices will affect how we feel and our outward disposition. If we are honest there have been days where we have been angry, unforgiving, and just unkind to people around us. (Hands Up) Feeling like this can zap our energy and the negativity can wear us down.
Being positive on the other hand makes a big difference. Being positive can energize us in whatever we face. Even when we face trials, if we can stay positive and realize that it is part of God’s plan in our life it can make a difference in how we face things. For example, when we face trials, the bible tells us to count it joy.
James 1:2-4 (NIV)
2 Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, 3 because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. 4 Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.
One of my favorite verses is in Psalm 118:24
This is the day that the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it
If we focus on the Lord, and the plans he has for us. Then it is much easier to keep a positive outlook on life.
