“God’s Wisdom is Eternal”

Proverbs 3:13 (NIV) “13 Blessed are those who find wisdom, those who gain understanding”

Today we are flooded with information everything from television, internet, radio, books, and expert commentaries. Many of these sources give us an array of instructions on how to live our lives in today’s hectic lifestyle. One of the problems of the world’s wisdom is that it is always changing as public opinion changes. Instead, look to God for Wisdom.

Psalm 111:10 (NIV)

10 The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom; all who follow his precepts have good understanding. To him belongs eternal praise.

God’s wisdom never changes, and it is timeless. There is nothing we deal with in life that God’s wisdom can’t help us with. One of the great things is that God willingly shares His wisdom with His children. What a blessing we have as His children that we can look to God for Wisdom and it is found in one source, the Holy Bible.

It is said that patience is the companion of wisdom. Our wisdom comes from God as a biproduct of reading and meditating His Word and applying it in our lives. It takes time, this is where the patience comes into play. God’s plan is for us to gradually grow in wisdom to where we use His principles in daily circumstances.

5 let the wise listen and add to their learning, and let the discerning get guidance—
