God’s Umbrella of Protection

As Terri and I travel around to different scenic destinations in our RV, we put our faith and trust in God’s protection.
We both pray each day for our Lord and Savior to watch over us. It is great to put our faith in a Sovereign God that orchestrates the events of our life.
Psalm 34:7
The angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear him, and he delivers them.
Like everyone, we have had our ups and downs in life. We have lost loved ones, we have both had health accidents that set us back, we both have faced the trials of working careers, and of course we had children challenges over the years.
But one thing we have managed to do is keep our faith strong in the Lord. We realize that trials are used by God to strengthen our faith and we also realize God has a purpose for what He puts us through. We also realize when we go through the storms that God is right there with us to see us through to calmer seas.
James 1:2-4
2 Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, 3 because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. 4 Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.
So, if you are going through one of those down periods in life, keep your faith strong. Remember, that God is right there by our side to see us through to calmer seas.
Isaiah 43:2
2 When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overwhelm you; when you walk through fire you shall not be burned, and the flame shall not consume you.
