Does the Lord discipline His children? You bet He does. The Lord uses trials to discipline His children for the purpose of testing and strengthening their faith in order to bring praise, honor, and glory to Jesus Christ. So, what is a trial? Names have great significance in the Bible. The name “Immanuel” means "God is with us". Just imagine what it is like to have God with you. Throughout Bible history great men of faith (Moses, Joshua, David) just to name a few had God with them. Even now if we know Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we have God with us. We all had hopes and expectations this year however, due to the economy, health issues, COVID still hanging around, and fuel prices many plans were changed.
