Standing on God’s Promises

Franklin Graham writes,” we can have full confidence in God’s promises because we can have faith in His character”. God has given us a lot of promises in His Word. Some of God’s promises were for individuals or nations. For example, God made Abraham a promise that Sarah would have a son, but we cannot presume that He will do the same for us. However, many promises are for us to claim when we accept Jesus as our Lord and Savior.

Standing on the promises of Christ my King, Through eternal ages let His praises ring, Glory in the highest, I will shout and sing, Standing on the promises of God.

There are many promises that we can stand on. God’s promises prove true.

Psalm 18:30

God’s way is perfect. All the Lord’s promises prove true. He is a shield for all who look to him for protection.
