“Jesus our Redeemer”
Updated: Dec 12, 2023
Jesus is the focus of the Christmas Season. Our Lord loved us so much that He came in the flesh to redeem us. He was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born, as prophesied, in Bethlehem to a virgin. Though angels announced His arrival, and He reign over all creation, Jesus entered our world in a lowly manner so He could be identified with the meek and the poor. Jesus had to be born a human, so He can sympathize with our human frailties; His human blood was shed for our sins; and He was fully God and fully Man. It was Jesus who could forgive sins and calm the storms, and it was Jesus who suffered for us.
Galatians 4:4-5
4 But when the fullness of time had come, God sent forth his Son, born of woman, born under the law, 5 to redeem those who were under the law, so that we might receive adoption as sons.
This Christmas Season let's remember what Jesus did for us.
