Incredible Love

Updated: Mar 10

Paul the author of much of the New Testament suffered greatly. He endured beatings, nearly drowned, faced starvation, rejection, imprisonment, and so many other hardships. But, he said that these sufferings cannot come close to comparing the glory we will see someday.

Romans 8:18 (NIV)

18 I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us.

Paul’s faith was tested through fire and pain in his life. Through it all Paul knew the truth. He had seen it on the road to Damascus. He knew nothing could separate us from the love of God demonstrated through our Lord Jesus Christ when he died for us.

Romans 8:39 (NIV)

38 For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers,

Powerful words knowing that nothing can separate us from God’s love for us. This should be the source that will see us through anything we face in life.
