“God’s Peace in Any Situation”
Updated: Sep 12
I have talked about God’s peace often, but the reason is God’s peace is a big part of a Christian’s life. We all have had issues that come up, which challenge the peace that God gives us. Many people are dealing with health issues, job issues, family issues, and life’s challenges. My friends and relatives have been hit hard with challenges lately, so these hit close to home. All these things put a serious challenge to us living in peace. But as a believer, we can have peace while facing the challenges that life throws at us.
We are so fortunate as a believer because we have the Holy Spirit that indwells us. So, God’s peace dwells inside of us. Prior to accepting Christ as my Lord and Savior I did not have God’s peace in my life, I was at odds with God’s peace. This all changed because of what Jesus did on the cross.
Jesus told His disciples that He would send a Comforter, Counselor and Helper to represent Him when He went away.
John 14:26 (NIV)
26 But the Helper (Comforter, Advocate, Intercessor—Counselor, Strengthener, Standby), the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name [in My place, to represent Me and act on My behalf], He will teach you all things. And He will help you remember everything that I have told you.
I have been blessed with God’s peace in my life because I have accepted Jesus as my Lord and Savior. I know that no matter what comes up in my life, God is with me, and His peace indwells me.
You can experience this same peace when you make Jesus your Lord and Savior.
