Be an Encourager and Comforter for Christmas

This Christmas is going to be different as everything else has been this year. This Christmas remember that regardless of what you have or don’t have you can bless others because of Christ. We have been blessed with love, peace, and comfort. We can be a blessing to someone else this year by sharing with them Christ love, peace, and comfort to someone you know that has had a rough year.

I am sure we all know some people that could use some attention, comfort, and encouragement this year. This is just a practical way that we can live out Jesus in our lives. It could be as simple as giving someone a call and tell them you are thinking of them, and you wish them a Merry Christmas. My wife loves making Christmas cookies for families just to let them know how much they mean to us. This is pleasing to God, because God has so richly blessed us with His love, peace, and comfort.

Matthew 5:16

In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.

Bless somebody this Holiday Season. So don’t be afraid to be generous! God will meet you in the pouring out, just as He did me that Christmas morning so long ago.
